I have always been a teacher right from when I taught my dolls and teddies in my bedroom. After teaching for 4 years in a mainstream primary school in Inner City Birmingham I then specialised in teaching children with speech and language difficulties. During this time I studied a degree at Birmingham University looking at why children develop speaking difficulties and how they could be rectified.
My next challenge was starting a business which was an after school activity teaching children confidence and communication skills through a drama programme. This was very successful and I learnt a lot about people through that time by employing staff, dealing with parents and working with children from 4 to 17 years.
My new venture is jointly running a garden, nursery and tea room in Pembrokeshire. Whilst doing this I have studied life coaching with New Insights and reading many psychology and self help books.
As you can see I don't sit still - you only get one life so live it!
